I recently stayed at a guest house in Barrow-in-Furness and had a positive experience. The beds were clean and quite comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. The owner was accommodating, allowing us to check in late due to traffic delays. The rooms and separate bathrooms were impeccably clean, and the staff was friendly. The single room was well-furnished and cozy. Ian, the host, was very friendly and offered helpful suggestions for places to visit. I would recommend this guest house for a pleasant stay.
There were a couple of drawbacks to note. The rooms were extremely small, making it difficult to find space to put our suitcases.
